This course takes place at Guildford Spectrum using their heated indoor pool for rescue practice and a classroom for the theory and kit talks
COURSE PROGRAMME
- Board, paddles, equipment, clothing and kit
- Paddle conditions – weather, river flow, tides, wind speed and direction
- Planning a paddle
- Safety on the water – practical skills on the water, self rescue and supporting others
